About us

Bear Creek Stables and Bear Creek Ranch are owned and operated by Russ Hermanspan. Bear Creek Stables has provided guided trail rides for over 20 years and also provides special events through Bear Creek Ranch which has been in operation for over 30 years such as wagon/hay rides and carriages for weddings.

Russ grew up in Englewood, CO and began working at Bear Creek Stables as a wrangler in high school and then continued as a manager for many years under Mark Richardson. After the passing of Mark, the reins were handed over to Russ who has continued to maintain the Bear Creek legacy.
